We are looking for qualified trainers in the following areas:
- Foundation Skills (LLN – Literacy, Language and Numeracy)
- Business
- RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol)
- RCG (Responsible Conduct of Gambling)
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- First Aid and CPR
- Hospitality
- Barista
- Retail
Our trainers work with students through face-to-face and online delivery to provide training, support, and assessment. Training may be delivered in the Hunter, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, or Central Coast regions, so travel may be required for some positions.
As a Trainer & Assessor, you will:
- Design and deliver engaging, interactive training sessions tailored to students at various levels, including trainees, job seekers, and individuals with Literacy, Language and Numeracy (LLN) gaps.
- Create comprehensive lesson plans, presentations, and assessments to enhance the learning experience.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive.
- Stay current with your industry area and bring real-world knowledge into your training delivery.

What you’ll bring to the table
We employ trainers who are actively engaged in industry practice while teaching, giving students insight into current trends and real-world processes.
To be successful, you will need to demonstrate:
- A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122), or a higher-level qualification in adult education.
- Relevant vocational qualifications and/or industry experience in one or more of the disciplines listed above.
- Current industry engagement in your area of expertise.
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Suite and Office 365.
- Experience delivering training to students with barriers to education will also be highly regarded.
